MetaGeek Blog

Third Site’s the Charm

Our website has gone through some growing pains lately. It all started when I decided that MetaGeek.net needed a blog… and maybe a wiki… and an online store with more functionality… our original site had limited functionality (I built it all myself), but worked well.

Our website has gone through some growing pains lately. It all started when I decided that MetaGeek.net needed a blog… and maybe a wiki… and an online store with more functionality… our original site had limited functionality (I built it all myself), but worked well.

The second iteration of MetaGeek.net was outsourced to a web development company. It had the bells and whistles that we’d asked for, but also had a lot of warts and the various parts of the site weren’t integrated as well as we’d like.

So we kept looking for a better solution and decided upon the NeoReef platform. Our site now has a blog, forum, great page management, and is well integrated. We’re still putting the finishing touches on it, so some links may be broken and the forum is still being migrated. But in the end we are once again happy with our online presence and hope that you find MetaGeek.net useful and easy to navigate.
